Search Instructions
Searching
You may use boolean search terms in the search box on the left (and, or, not). You may also use the wildcard character *. Searches for exact phrases may be placed in quotation marks. Search results will contain a relevancy score, which will appear on the left of each entry, will provide a relative ranking of the results.
When searching, you may choose to search the whole electronic thesis and dissertation database, or only those entries that contain the full text of the thesis or dissertation. If you select "All Results" your results will contain theses and dissertations with complete submissions and theses and dissertations with only public abstracts available.
Restrictions
When students submit their thesis or dissertation at MU, they have an option to restrict access. Students can choose whether to make the files available to the world, to University of Missouri System campuses, or limit access to the MU campus.
